American Brain Tumor Association
Founded in 1973, the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) was the first national nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated solely to brain tumors. For nearly 45 years, the ABTA has provided comprehensive resources that support the complex needs of brain tumor patients and caregivers, as well as the critical funding of research in the pursuit of breakthroughs in brain tumor diagnosis, treatment and care.
BTAM Highlights: Developed the AMP UP: Toolkit to Share Your Story, offer #TipTuesday on twitter and three BT5K events in Denver, CO; Ann Arbor, MI and Los Angeles, CA
EndBrainCancer
Initiative | Chris Elliott Fund
The EndBrainCancer Initiative assists patients, families and caregivers with Brain Cancer through 3 distinct programs. 1) DirectConnect which provides immediate access to advanced treatment options by referring nationally to top brain cancer specialists and pre-qualifying patients for appropriate clinical trials 2) Education/Awareness/Outreach provides educational resources to nearly 6 million people nationally 3) Advocacy and Access fosters Health Policy work to obtain more immediate access to drugs, devices, and clinical trials
BTAM Highlights: Participating in two walks in Seattle, WA as well as the 6th Annual Brains Matter Awareness Fundraiser and Celebration Luncheon with Fran Drescher serving as the speaker also in Seattle.
Head for the Cure
The Head for the Cure Foundation is dedicated to the fight against brain cancer. Its mission is to raise awareness, and funding to inspire hope for the community of brain cancer patients, their families, friends, caregivers and other supporters, while celebrating their courage, spirit and energy. Importantly and uniquely, through its partnership with the Brain Tumor Trials Collaborative (BTTC), The Head for the Cure Foundation is moving the field of brain cancer research forward in the quest for effective treatment.

The Musella Foundation compiles data for brain tumor research and offers information to help the brain tumor community. The organization offers a guide that can be downloaded for the newly diagnosed and allows them to explore financial resources.
